Maestro Brassmaster

The Maestro Brassmaster is a mid-1970s upper-octave fuzz originally designed for brass instruments but quickly adopted by bass guitarists and guitarists after players like Chris Squire showcased its wild, harmonically dense sound. It generates a nasal, synth-like upper octave layered over a brutish fuzz, producing an almost horn-like texture that sits in a unique sonic space all its own.
