Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Pedal Builder respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and who we work with. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide: your username and email, your password (stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text), and any optional profile details you choose to add.
  • Usage data: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, general device and browser information). This helps us improve Pedal Builder.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number — we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your current subscription status.

How we use your information

To operate your account, provide Premium features, send essential transactional emails (such as email verification and payment receipts), keep the service secure, and improve how it works.

How we share your information

We do not sell or share your personal data. We rely on a small number of service providers strictly to run the site, and they process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Resend — sending transactional emails.
  • Google Analytics — aggregate usage analytics.

Apart from the information you provide directly to Stripe at checkout, we do not share your information with third parties. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use a single secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics sets its own analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention & your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your profile at any time in Account settings. To request access to, or deletion of, your account and its data, email us at pachydermpedals@gmail.com — self-serve account deletion is coming.

Children

Pedal Builder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here. Questions? Reach us through the Contact page.
