What Pedal Builder is

Pedal Builder is an independent, informational database of guitar-effects circuits, PCBs, and components, compiled from public project documentation. Content is provided “as is”for educational and informational purposes and may contain errors or omissions — always verify against the manufacturer's own materials before relying on it. See our Trademarks & Fair Use statement for how brand and product names are used.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and don't share your login. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Free and Premium tiers

Browsing and search are free and need no account. A free account adds favorites and the shopping cart. Premium is a paid subscription that adds inventory, buildable-now search, shopping-list diffs, and build tracking.

Billing, renewals & cancellation

• Premium is offered $5 per month or $45 per year, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from Account settings → Manage billing, and you keep Premium through the end of the period you've already paid for.
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices; we'll give notice, and changes apply to future renewals.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt or break the security of the service, scrape or bulk-extract the catalog, resell access, or use Pedal Builder for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Building and modifying electronics carries inherent risk; you are responsible for your own safety and results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pedal Builder is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination & changes

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Reach us through the Contact page.
