Based on the Roger Mayer Axis Fuzz, one of the classic silicon fuzz designs from the builder who crafted effects for Jimi Hendrix. The Axis delivers a focused, cutting fuzz character — tighter than a vintage Fuzz Face but with plenty of harmonic bite — and Roger Mayer's boutique pedals rarely turn up cheap or easily, making this a genuinely rewarding clone to build.
