Compared to the Systech Harmonic Energizer, a rare and deeply unusual early-'70s envelope filter best known for the alien, vowel-like filter sweeps on Frank Zappa's recordings. Genuinely hard to find in the wild and expensive when it does surface, so building one is often the only realistic path to that singular, resonant quack.
