The MidFi Electronics Clari(not) is a wonderfully strange pitch-warbling, vibrato/chorus device that uses a BBD running at unstable voltages to produce seasick, unpredictable modulation somewhere between a broken tape machine and a ring mod. Compared to the handmade original's scarcity, building this fuzz-voiced variant is a rare chance to get those gloriously unstable textures under your foot.
