The Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer needs little introduction — the green box that defined smooth, mid-forward overdrive and shaped the sound of blues and rock for decades, from Stevie Ray Vaughan on down. This build recreates the original 808 circuit, the one with the JRC4558D op-amp and that warm, singing sustain that pushed countless tube amps into the sweet spot.
