Yamaha Corporation is a Japanese multinational musical instrument and audio equipment manufacturer, founded in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, originally as Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd. It is the world's largest musical instrument manufacturing company, producing a vast range of products including guitars, pianos, synthesizers, drums, and audio/effects equipment. Yamaha has produced numerous guitar effects pedals and multi-effects processors over the decades, including the well-known Magicstomp and DG Stomp series.
