Washburn

Washburn Guitars is an American stringed instrument manufacturer founded in 1883 in Chicago, Illinois, originally as a partnership between George Washburn Lyon and Patrick Healy. The company produces acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, mandolins, banjos, and ukuleles, and is credited with innovations such as introducing the first dreadnought-style guitar (the 1912 Lakeside Jumbo) and pioneering the artist endorsement model. Today Washburn operates as an active brand under KMC Music, continuing to serve musicians at all levels worldwide.
