Steel Panther

Steel Panther is the merchandise and signature-gear arm of the Los Angeles-based glam metal band of the same name, formed in 1997 (adopting the Steel Panther name in 2008), fronted by guitarist Satchel (Russ Parrish). The brand markets a line of guitar effects pedals built in collaboration with boutique builder AllPedal, aimed at recapturing the saturated lead tones and atmospheric delays associated with 1980s hair metal. The pedal catalog includes the Pussy Melter, Poontang Boomerang, Butthole Burner, and the signature 1987 distortion/delay stompbox, distributed through the band's official site and retailers such as Guitar Center and Andertons.
