Soldano

Soldano Custom Amplification is an American boutique guitar amplifier manufacturer founded in 1986 by Michael Soldano in Los Angeles, California, later relocating to Seattle, Washington. The company is best known for its flagship SLO-100 (Super Lead Overdrive), a high-gain tube amplifier widely credited with establishing the boutique amp market and used by artists such as Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, and Mark Knopfler. In 2019, founder Mike Soldano sold the company to Boutique Amps Distribution, remaining with the company as a designer, and Soldano continues to produce amplifiers and effects pedals.
