Snarling Dogs

Snarling Dogs is an American guitar effects pedal brand founded in the mid-1990s by Charlie Stringer of Stringer Industries, known for its distinctive hot-rod-gas-pedal-shaped steel enclosures and wah-heavy product lineup. After Stringer's death in 1999, the brand changed hands several times before ultimately landing with D'Andrea, the New Jersey-based guitar pick and accessories company, which currently holds the Snarling Dogs trademark. The brand built its reputation largely on wah pedals and developed a cult following for its unusual voicings and playful aesthetic.
