Ross Electronics

Ross Electronics is an American guitar effects pedal brand originally founded in 1977 by Charles "Bud" Ross in Chanute, Kansas, operated through Keas Electronics, during the golden era of compact effects. The original company changed hands multiple times in the 1980s and ceased operations by the mid-1990s, but its pedals—especially the Compressor and Distortion—became cult classics. The brand is currently being revived under direct family stewardship by Bud's grandson, Cameron Ross, who is relaunching the line with modernized "Era 6" versions of the classic pedals.
