Roger Mayer

Roger Mayer is a pioneering UK-based electrical engineer and effects pedal manufacturer, established in 1964, best known for designing custom effects units for legendary guitarists including Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Stevie Wonder. His most iconic creation, the Octavia fuzz/octave pedal, was built for Jimi Hendrix in 1967 and became a defining element of Hendrix's sound. The company continues to produce hand-built analog guitar effects pedals in the United Kingdom.
