Prescription Electronics is a boutique guitar effects pedal company founded by Jack Brossart in 1993 in Portland, Oregon, known for handmade, vintage-inspired fuzz and overdrive pedals evoking the raw tones of late-1960s rock. The company originally shuttered in 2014 but was relaunched circa 2019, reissuing its original product line including the Experience, Yardbox, C.O.B., RX Overdriver, and Vibe Unit. Its pedals developed a cult following and have been used by artists such as Eric Johnson, Doyle Bramhall II, and Trent Reznor.
