Nordland Electronics is a German boutique guitar effects pedal company founded in 2019 by Kai Tachibana, a Hamburg-based electronics engineer who originally designed the Nobels ODR-1 overdrive circuit in 1992. The company produces handmade overdrive pedals sold directly via its webstore, with its flagship product being the ODR-C Custom Overdrive — an evolved, feature-rich update of the ODR-1 circuit. Tachibana has over 40 years of experience designing electronic devices for the music industry.
