Nobels is a German guitar effects pedal manufacturer founded in the 1980s and headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. The company is best known for its ODR-1 Natural Overdrive pedal, first developed in 1985, which has achieved cult status among guitarists worldwide and has been used by prominent session players and touring professionals. Founded by Bernhard Kurzke, Nobels also developed effect pedals, switching units, and headphone amplifiers for major brands such as Fender, Washburn, and Guild.
