MXR

MXR is an American guitar effects pedal brand originally co-founded in 1972 by Keith Barr and Terry Sherwood in Rochester, New York, and incorporated as MXR Innovations, Inc. in 1974. The original company closed in 1984, but Jim Dunlop acquired the MXR trademark in 1987 and continues to manufacture both classic reissues—such as the Phase 90 and Dyna Comp—and modern designs like the Carbon Copy Analog Delay.
