Mid-Fi Electronics

Mid-Fi Electronics is a boutique guitar effects company founded and run by Doug Tuttle, who hand-builds every pedal from his home in the Boston area of the United States. The brand began in the late 1990s with DIY experimentation and grew into a full-time operation in the mid-2000s, remaining a one-person, made-to-order business throughout. Mid-Fi Electronics is known for its lo-fi, experimental, and unpredictable circuits—including fuzz, modulation, and noise-oriented effects—that have earned a cult following in psych, indie, and experimental music circles.
