Klon

Klon is a boutique guitar effects pedal brand founded by Bill Finnegan of Boston, Massachusetts, known for the Klon Centaur, a hand-built overdrive pedal sold between 1994 and 2008 with approximately 8,000 units produced. The Centaur is widely credited with popularizing the concept of 'transparent' overdrive and has achieved near-mythical collector status, with original units fetching thousands of dollars on the used market. In 2014, Finnegan released the Klon KTR, a redesigned version outsourced to contracted manufacturers, which continues to be produced under the Klon name.
