KHDK Electronics is an American boutique manufacturer of guitar effects pedals co-founded in 2012 by Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and businessman David Karon — the brand name derives from their initials. The company specializes in analog overdrives, distortions, fuzzes, and boosts, with pedals hand-built at a family-run factory in Paducah, Kentucky, and is known for high-profile artist collaborations with musicians such as Gary Holt, Chino Moreno, and Zacky Vengeance. In 2025 KHDK expanded beyond pedals by debuting its first line of electric guitars at Guitar Summit in Mannheim, Germany.
