HomeBrew Electronics (HBE) is a boutique guitar effects pedal company founded in 2001 by Joel Weaver and his wife Andrea, based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The small operation hand-builds each pedal one at a time using high-quality components, offering customers custom colors, knobs, and other cosmetic modifications. HBE is known for a wide range of overdrive, distortion, fuzz, and modulation pedals — including the Power Screamer, Big D, Full Metal Jacket, and Germania — used by professional artists such as Steve Lukather, Carlos Santana, and Paul Gilbert.
