Guyatone

Guyatone is a Japanese guitar brand and manufacturing company founded in 1933, producing electric guitars, guitar amplifiers, and effects pedals. Originally established as Matsuki Seisakujo in Tokyo, the Guyatone brand name appeared on instruments from 1951, and the company later operated as Tokyo Sound Co., Ltd. In 2013, Tokyo Sound Co. closed and the brand was reorganized in partnership with DeMont Guitars of Oswego, IL, USA, with manufacturing continuing in both Japan and the United States.
