Free The Tone is a Japanese boutique effects pedal and audio systems manufacturer based in Yokohama, founded in November 2002 by Yukihiro (Yuki) Hayashi. The company designs and produces effects pedals, programmable audio routing systems, solderless cables, and complete pedalboard solutions, all built in Yokohama using its proprietary HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit technology. Its gear is widely used by professional guitarists and bassists across multiple genres worldwide.
