E.W.S. (Engineering Work Store) is a Japanese guitar effects pedal manufacturer, originally founded in 2006 as a musical repair shop. The company is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan (under distributor Prosound Communications Japan), and gained early recognition for Arion Chorus modifications before expanding into a full line of original boutique pedals including the Fuzzy Drive, Brute Drive, and various bass effects. E.W.S. continues to produce high-quality true-bypass effect pedals and accessories for guitarists and bassists worldwide.
