DigiTech

DigiTech is an American guitar effects pedal and audio processor manufacturer, founded in 1984 as a brand of DOD Electronics (itself founded in Utah in 1974). The brand pioneered digital signal processing for guitarists, including releasing the industry's first multi-effects processor and the iconic Whammy pitch-shifting pedal. After years under Harman International (a Samsung division), DigiTech/DOD was acquired in 2022 by Cor-Tek Corporation, the parent company of Cort Guitars, and remains an active brand headquartered in Utah, USA.
