Description

Dallas-Arbiter was a British musical instrument and electronics company formed around 1965–1968 through the merger of Dallas Music Ltd (founded 1875) and Arbiter Electronics, headquartered in England. It is best known for manufacturing the Fuzz Face distortion pedal, introduced in 1966 and famously used by Jimi Hendrix, as well as distributing guitars and amplifiers under multiple brands. The company ceased operations in 1975, and the Dallas Arbiter and Fuzz Face trademarks were subsequently acquired by Dunlop Manufacturing Inc. in 1993.
