Description
Carl Martin is a Danish guitar effects pedal and amplifier manufacturer operating under the parent company East Sound Research (ESR), founded in 1990 in Grenaa, Denmark by Søren Jongberg. The brand launched its first effects pedal, the Hot Drive'n Boost, in 1993, and has since produced around 50 different pedals along with handcrafted tube amplifiers. Following Jongberg's passing in 2023, ownership transferred in 2024 to Thomas Svenstrup of DanGuitar.dk, who continues the Carl Martin legacy.
