Altero Custom Guitars

Altero Custom Guitars is a Japanese guitar workshop founded in 2010 and based in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, by two craftsmen formerly active as guitar-craft school instructors and repair technicians. The workshop offers custom-order guitar and bass manufacturing, repairs, customization, used instrument sales, and a music school. It also produces a line of hand-wired and standard effect pedals — including the KAEDE, Wal-Overdrive, and Mag-Distortion — with sound supervised by Altero and designed in collaboration with KarDiaN's main designer Toshikazu Kitada.
