The OC-1 is an original optical compressor designed by Pete Cornish, featuring a feed-forward design with a minimized two-stage audio signal path, ensuring no change to frequency response, no distortion, and minimal added noise. It includes a 'Blend' control to mix the uncompressed signal with the compressed output, allowing for natural attack retention even at high compression settings.
